The PA Route 6 Alliance announced that the deadline to be included in the 2014-15 PA Route 6 promotions including a PA Route 6 Visitors Guide and the PA Route 6 Artisan Trail is fast approaching. Area businesses have until May 15 to advertise in the multi-county guide and website designed to attract more travelers to “Take the High Road” or in the popular PA Route 6 Artisan Trail brochure.

The Alliance will produce 60,000 copies of the official PA Route 6 Visitors Guide, which intended to provide potential visitors with the information to plan their stay in the Northern Tier as they travel across the route. Attractions and activities will be highlighted. Businesses have the opportunity to purchase a variety of ads sizes from a basic listing on the map, which will include business name, address, phone, and website to an expanded listing, quarter page ad, half page ad and full page ads. All listings and ads will appear on the new website (

The Alliance will also produce 25,000 Artisan Trail Guide booklets. This popular publication highlights the many talented people across the Route 6 corridor. Artists, studios, galleries, shops and artisan sites can participate at the Expanded Listing Level. Lodging and dining businesses can participate at the Listing Level.  All participants receive listings on the Artisan Trail section of the PA Route 6 website.

Advertising is open to any business within the 11 counties connected by Route 6. Businesses in good standing with one of the Route 6’s partner Convention and Visitor Bureaus or members of the PA Route 6 Alliance will get a 10 discount off the ad rate.
