ANNUAL MEETING TO REVIEW TOURISM AND ITS IMPACT ON PA ROUTE 6
US Route 6 based business and organizations are encouraged to come learn about tourism and development projects along the PA Route 6 Heritage Corridor at the PA Route 6 Alliance’s Annual Meeting and Awards Program on Thursday, May 8th.
Keynote speaker, Pennsylvania Senator Robert Robbins (District 50), will reminisce on his years of involvement with tourism in the Northwest Pennsylvania and the PA Route 6 Corridor as well as present his vision of the future of Pennsylvania’s 2nd largest industry. A long time supporter of the PA Route 6 initiative, Robbins successfully sponsored legislation that recognized the eastern and western gateways along Route 6 and designated a portion of Route 6 in Crawford County as a Pennsylvania Byway.
The meeting will also include a review of the past years, a preview of upcoming projects and will conclude with the Do 6 Awards recognition ceremony for several people and organizations involved in heritage tourism development and promotion along Route 6.
The meeting and awards program will take place on Thursday, May 8th at the Coudersport Golf Club, starting at 11AM. The cost of the luncheon is $20. Registrations are due by May 1.
Register for the meeting and luncheon by calling the PA Route 6 Alliance office at 814-435-7706 or filling out the registration form.
