Bike Route Y
Master Plan - Phase I
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Route 6 Alliance has developed a PA Route 6 Bicycle Master Plan Design Guide to improve bicycle safety, accessibility and connectivity on U.S. Routes 6 and 6N. The majority of U.S. Route 6 is officially designated as BicyclePA Route Y and the Master Plan addresses the route’s first 150 miles (from the Ohio-Pennsylvania border to the McKean-Potter County line) and includes bicycle design and safety improvement recommendations for U.S Route 6 and 6N. PennDOT and the Alliance cordially invite you to review the Design Guide and accompanying Executive Summary. Questions can be directed to the PA Route 6 Alliance at 814-435-7706 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
