On the Prowl with Bobcats - Nature Center
Bobcats have increased their populations dramatically in Pa. Learn of their history in our state, as well as their management, life history, and distribution. By way of mounts, slides, demos, and video clips the facts surrounding our largest wild feline will be illustrated. Two research projects in the state will also be explained.

Coyotes in PA - Nature Center
Coyotes are a well-established member of our wildlife community. Join us for a lesson on their origins and how to identify one by becoming familiar with mounts, hides, and skulls.

National Trails Day Hike
Meet at the Wellsboro Dunkin Donuts at 9 A.M. Then, carpool to the trailhead. Local DCNR volunteer and avid hiker, Daryl Warren, will lead the 8 mile hike on the West Rim Trail. This hike is meant for the more seasoned hiker. Wear proper footwear and clothing for the weather. Take lunch, snacks, bug repellant, and plenty of water.
