The Makers Fest
December 29, 2017
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

A great New Year’s Resolution that would impact your community is to choose to buy locally, especially when it comes to gifts, food, home décor, jewelry and other items. Wondering where to find such products? Visit the Makers Fest on Friday, December 29 from 2 – 4pm at the Dietrich Theater in Tunkhannock.

The Makers Fest, a special event created as part of Heritage PA’s Fifth Friday promotion, is designed to highlight local artists, crafters and makers. The event will feature several individuals from the Endless Mountains area who specialize in producing one-of-a-kind treasures. A video about the PA Route 6 Artisan Trail will also be premiered.

Come out and discover the paintings and jewelry of Amy Colley, pottery and recycled glass items by Steve Colley, welded metal creations of Frank Hoeffert, fused glass jewelry from Esther Harmatz, quilting created with recycled materials by Ingrid Rogler, woodcrafts from Chuck Long and more. Every attendee will be entered into a raffle for an Endless Mountain gift basket.

The Makers Fest is sponsored by the PA Route 6 Alliance, Endless Mountains Heritage Region, Endless Mountains Visitor Bureau and the Dietrich Theater as an effort to encourage residents to support local makers and help boost the economy in 2018.

For more information on the event or to register as an exhibitor, contact the PA Route 6 Alliance at 814-435-7706.
