The PA Route 6 Alliance is looking for artisans, galleries, food artisans and retail stores specializing in local art to be part of the 2014-15 PA Route 6 Artisan Trail.

The PA Route 6 Artisan Trail is popular amongst visitors to the Northern Tier where they can explore the unique studio, galleries and shops in each of the small towns.  The year-long trail is designed to establish Route 6 as a driving destination for exploring the heritage and folk-life of northern Pennsylvania through products produced in that area, specifically the arts and crafts. The PA Route 6 Artisan Trail covers the 400-plus miles from the New York border to the Ohio border. Over the past nine years, over 225,000 brochures have been distributed and 60,000 people have used the Artisan Trail section of the PA Route 6 website to learn about the talented people within the Heritage Corridor.

The PA Route 6 Alliance is planning to produce a new Artisan Trail brochure for 2014-15. Artist from the 11 counties connected by Route 6 are invited to participate. There are several levels of participationsfrom an Expanded Membership that includes a listing in the printed brochure and website to a Subscriber Membership, which includes participation in a 400-plus strong network.
