SUMMARY:103rd Annual Spring Show at the Erie Art Museum
DESCRIPTION:The 103rd Annual Spring Show is open to any and all artists living\, working or studying within 250 miles of the City of Erie\, Pennsylvania\, including Canada. \nThis year’s juror is Jenny Kendler – interdisciplinary artist\, activist\, and naturalist based in Chicago and various forests. Over the past two decades\, her projects on climate change and biodiversity loss have been shown at London’s Hayward Gallery\, New York’s Governors Island\, Storm King\, the Smithsonian NMNH\, MCA Chicago\, and public locations from urban riverwalks to remote deserts and tropical forests. \nSpring Show dates: April 2 – August 7\, 2026

SUMMARY:2026 UPMC Sunset Music Series at Presque Isle State Park
DESCRIPTION:New location this year! The UPMC Sunset Series will now take place at Beach 1. \nThis FREE six-week concert series begins Wednesday\, June 17\, and will continue weekly through July 22 from 5:30 p.m. to sunset at Beach 1. \nEach week\, attendees can look forward to a lineup of two live bands\, local food trucks\, ice cream\, hula-hoop playshops\, and extended swimming hours. \nThe event is pet friendly with certain restrictions: pets must remain behind the lifeguard chairs\, near the tree line and always leashed. \nBeach 1 is a smoke-free beach. \nAlcohol is not permitted on Presque Isle State Park. \nAlways remember to leave no trace when visiting the park.
