The annual Christmas in Our Hometown is organized by the Tunkhannock Business and Professional Association in conjunction with Gannon Insurance Associates and Donegal Insurance. Festivals begin with a Santa Parade leading to the tree lighting and live boardcast with WBRE-TV. Additional events include wagon rides, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, Living Nativity, cookie walk, Christmas movie festival, vendors, live entertainment and the fun house and business decorating contest planned with prizes and more!
