MOUNT PLEASANT HERBARY, located in Honesdale’s picturesque Maude Alley, offers locally-made soaps, teas, and salves infused with herbs from the Mount Pleasant Herbary Garden, along with a Cafe with baked goods and herbal teas.
Mount Pleasant Herbary highlights include…
European-Style Cafe – Owner and artisan, Gudrun Feigl, brings her German heritage to Mount Pleasant Township, along with her passion for herbal teas and herb-infused baked goods.
Locally-Grown Herbs – Feigle begins preparing her herb beds in early spring. Herbs are clipped several times throughout the season and dried in a drying shed. Then Feigl gets crafting with the dried herbs, blending delicious herbal teas, making luscious soaps, creating healing salves, and more!
Creative Workshops – Get your craft on at one of Mount Pleasant Herbary’s creative workshops or private classes. Past classes include Make a Natural First Aid Remedy Kit, Lavendar’s Culinary & Medicinal Uses, and Beautiful Things to Make with Roses.
