Vendor Application for PA Route 6 Maker’s Market at Keystone College

PA Route 6 Alliance and the Endless Mountains Heritage Region cordially invite artisans and makers throughout the Route 6 corridor to participate in the PA Route 6 Maker’s Market at Keystone College in La Plume on Saturday, August 12, 2023.
This event will feature local artisans and makers from throughout the region. All types of artisans and makers are welcome to participate: pottery, photography, glassware, wineries, distilleries, cideries, chocolateries, painters, and more. If it’s hand-crafted and/or homemade, this event will be a great place to reach potential customers and wholesalers interested in purchasing your products.

Rules and Guidelines for the Event:

Location of event: Keystone College, 7 College Ave, Factoryville, PA 18419.

This will be an outdoor event, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, the Maker’s Market will be moved inside to Evans Hall on the first floor of the Hibbard Campus Center.

Vendors are responsible for collecting appropriate State Sales Tax on sales made during the event.

Organizers have the right to withdraw any item deemed inappropriate.

Craftspeople are encouraged to demonstrate the skills of their crafts at their booth during the market. The more you demonstrate, the more attraction you bring to your craft.

Vendors are responsible for tents, tables, chairs and trash removal.

No water is available at vendor sites. Electricity available upon request.

Placement at sites is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Spaces are approximately 10′ by 10′. Set up starts at 9:30AM the morning of the event.

The Maker’s Market operates 11:00AM to 4:00PM on August 12th.

Vendors must remain open during the full timeframe of the event.

Registration due by August 1, 2023.

No refunds after Augusts 1st.

In addition, the applicant(s), do expressly release PA Route 6 Alliance, Endless Mountains Heritage Region, and Keystone College from any and all liability for any damage, injury or loss to any person or goods which may arise from the rental and occupation of exhibit space by the applicant(s).

Vendors understand their registration fee shall not be refunded in the event that they do not attend or if all or part of the event is canceled due to fire, calamity or any other act of God, public enemy, strikes, statutes or ordinances or any legal authority or any cause beyond its control.
