SETTLEMENT HOUSE, founded in 2001 by artist Connie Sickler in a gorgeous timber frame showhome for her family’s company, Settlement Post & Beam, showcases an eclectic collection of artwork from over 50 juried NY and PA artists, including hand-thrown pottery, fine art jewelry, leatherwork, handpainted fabrics, hand-woven baskets, glass mosaics, signed prints, and so much more!

THE FAMILY ATMOSPHERE – With artworks and handicrafts intermingling with the rustic furniture and decor of the impressive timber-framed show home, you will be hard-pressed to find a more inviting, home-like artisan shop along Pennsylvania’s Route 6. Connie’s friendly smile and adorable grandkids (who are often there with their mom who helps run the shop) add to Settlement House’s welcoming atmosphere and charm!
SPACE FOR ART CLASSES – With Connie’s daughter taking over operations, Connie plans to expand Settlement House’s art class and event offerings. The home includes two inspiring spaces for creativity: an inviting handcrafted table in the show home’s sunshine-soaked dining room and a cozy studio space amidst nature-themed murals and an indoor coy pond downstairs.

CONNIE’S NEW FABRIC LINE – Connie brings her original watercolor paintings to life through a new medium: fabric! She works with an environmentally-conscious fabric company, Spoonflower, to print her watercolor designs on quality fabric, which is offered for sale as is and also used in creations such as fabric lampshades and pillows.
