Greener Pastures Farm and Greenhouses raises pasture-based livestock that receives plenty of fresh water and air and room to roam. Their pigs and chickens receive GMO-free feed, and they don’t give anything to their animals that they wouldn’t eat themselves. They offer a variety of products, including Shiitake mushrooms, asparagus, free range eggs, pastured chickens, pastured pork, grass-fed beer, pumpkins, hay, maple syrup, and much more!
In winter 2016, they erected their first greenhouse, added a second in 2017, and added a farmstand and high tunnel in 2018. They have a wide selection of annuals, perennials, herbs, and vegetables to choose from. And they don’t use pesticides on their plants, opting for beneficial insects and other biocontrols like nematodes. From container to pot, to herb gardens, and bedding plants, using locally-grown, pesticide-free plants is good for your garden, your family, and your health.
