The Gathering Place Gallery – The Gathering Place Art Gallery displays the artwork of established and emerging artists working or living in northeastern Pennsylvania. You won’t want to miss the annual “Our Town Art Show” featuring the work of local Abington Heights student artists. The art show includes awards and even an “Our Town” scholarship.
Diversity & Inclusion in Programming – Programming and events at The Gathering Place include all styles, themes, artforms, and abilities. Programs include the Coffeehouse Concert Series, a Memory Cafe for individuals and caregivers impacted by memory loss, a monthly Reading Group, ALIGN Autism Parenting Support Group, a monthly Weaving Group, the Songwriter’s Roundtable series, and many more!
Weekly Inclusive Craft & Chat Classes – Visit The Gathering Place each Friday, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., to casually “craft and chat” with others. All adults are welcome to this creative experience, including young adults with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities.
