Struthers Library Theatre in Warren, Pennsylvania, is a nationally recognized performing arts venue that blends rich history with a vibrant lineup of entertainment. Originally completed in 1883 through the generosity of local businessman Thomas Struthers, the building was designed to house a public library along with a grand performance hall, quickly becoming a cultural centerpiece for the region. Over the decades, it evolved from a Victorian-era opera house and vaudeville stage into a movie theater before being lovingly restored by community volunteers and reopened in 1983 as a multi-arts performance space.

Today, the theatre offers a diverse range of programming, including its popular Celebrity Series and Regional Series, which bring nationally and internationally known musicians, performers, and comedians to the stage. It also serves as home to the Warren Players, one of the nation’s longest continuously operating community theatre groups, and provides educational opportunities through youth theatre programs.

Struthers Library Theatre has earned national acclaim, most notably being named the 2018 Outstanding Historic Theatre of the Year by the League of Historic American Theatres, recognizing excellence in programming, restoration, and community impact. As one of the oldest continually operating theatres in the country, it remains a cornerstone of arts and culture in northwestern Pennsylvania, offering high-quality entertainment in a beautifully preserved historic setting.
