Presque Isle State Park is one of 121 state parks within the state of Pennsylvania and is a National Natural Landmark for about four million visitors each year. Presque Isle offers visitors a beautiful, sandy coastline and many recreational activities, including swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, bicycling, and in-line skating.
Whether you come to enjoy the sandy beaches, study ecological diversity, or learn about the historical significance of the peninsula, there is something for everyone at Presque Isle State Park.
Tom Ridge Environmental Center
Begin your Presque Isle adventure by stopping in The Tom Ridge Environmental Center and Erie Visitor Center. The Tom Ridge Environmental Center is the gateway to Presque Isle State Park and the gateway to discovery. Our 65,000 square foot, state-of-the-art, green-designed facility encourages visitors to discover Presque Isle State Park and the many different forms of life that inhabit the Peninsula. The Tom Ridge Environmental Center is open from 8am – 4pm daily. The Presque Isle State Park Office is open from 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday.

The Sunset Café, and the Big Green Screen Theatre will remain closed until further notice.

Accessibility Information:
Portions of Presque Isle State Park are wheelchair accessible. Beaches 7, 8 and 11 feature ADA-accessible ramps that will take visitors right to water’s edge, and Beach 8 provides beach wheelchairs at no cost during the swimming season (Memorial Day to Labor Day). The 13.5-mile Karl Boyes Multi-Purpose Trail is wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs, and ADA-accessible fishing piers are located at the Rotary Pavilion, East Pier, West Pier and North Pier locations.
