Women’s Outdoor Workshops
The Women’s Outdoor Workshops are Back… now under the leadership of Penn Soil RC&D Council! Open to women and girls 12 years old and up, this event is designed to introduce women and girls to a wide range of activities and skills they can try over the course of one day without the expense of having to invest in equipment to try it out first, while building confidence and learning new skills! Our second event will take place at our host location, the Tionesta Church of God, 1582 PA-36, Tionesta, PA 16353 from 8 am – 5 pm. Those wishing to register for this event may choose 4 first-choices and 4 second-choices from the list of 17 fabulous workshops we have lined up. Register early to get your 4 first choices! Lunch will be provided as well as coffee and refreshments during the morning sign-in. Participants will enjoy 2 classes in the morning and 2 classes in the afternoon, each one hour and fifteen minutes long.
Class topics include bee keeping, birdhouse building, intro to mosaics, herbal tincture making, wire weaving with beach glass to soil health investigation, macroinvertebrate & native mussel investigation, self-defense, intro to yoga & Tia Chi and much more!
