Recognizing outstanding people, groups, and communities along PA Route 6!

The PA Route 6 Alliance is requesting nominations for their 16th Annual “Do 6” Awards, which recognize individuals, groups, projects, and communities that exemplify and advance the Alliance’s mission of protecting, preserving, and promoting the scenic, cultural, historic, and recreational resources across the 11-county corridor of PA Route 6.

The “Do 6” Awards program, presented annually by the PA Route 6 Alliance, recognizes and celebrates outstanding individuals, organizations, businesses, and communities that exemplify the mission of protecting, preserving, and promoting the scenic, cultural, historic, and recreational resources along the PA Route 6 Heritage Corridor. These awards highlight leadership, innovation, and collaboration in areas such as heritage tourism, community revitalization, arts, preservation, and regional partnerships. By honoring six recipients each year, the program not only acknowledges meaningful accomplishments, but also inspires continued investment and pride in the corridor’s communities, encouraging others to “Do 6” by supporting projects and initiatives that strengthen and sustain the region for future generations.

Nominations may be submitted until April 1, 2026, through the online form at https://paroute6.com/2026-do-6-awards-nomination-form/. Award winners will be notified upon selection, and awards will be presented during the PA Route 6 Educational Workshop, Annual Meeting and “Do 6” Awards Program to be held in Coudersport, PA. The date of the Annual Meeting will be announced soon.
