Chapman State Park

Chapman State Park offers a well-rounded outdoor recreation experience set within 862 acres of scenic woodland bordering the Allegheny National Forest. At the heart of the park is the 68-acre Chapman Lake, a focal point for warm-weather activities including boating, fishing, and wildlife watching.

The park features a sandy swimming beach open seasonally from late spring through summer, providing a relaxing spot for families to enjoy the water. Picnic areas with reservable pavilions overlook the lake, creating ideal settings for gatherings and day trips. Anglers can take advantage of both warm- and cold-water fishing, while non-motorized and electric boats allow for quiet exploration of the lake.
