About

BikeScranton and BikeLackawanna is a free bike-sharing program run by Lackawanna Heritage Valley.

BikeScranton is a free bike-sharing program run by Lackawanna Heritage Valley. Pick up a bike, lock, and helmet from their main office on South 7th Ave. Lackawanna Heritage Valley is the only BikeScranton location that has handcycles and recumbent bikes for riders with disabilities.

“You can use the bike and equipment all day, so hit the trails! You’ll be right near the scenic Lackawanna River Heritage Trail, where you can reconnect with nature and still remain close to downtown Scranton’s attractions. Take a relaxing ride through Nay Aug Park or explore Scranton’s historic district.

“To participate, you must be 16 or older and have a valid driver’s license or state photo ID. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.

“Bikes must be borrowed from and returned to the same location. Please check individual locations for operating hours.” Source: DiscoverNEPA.com
