Take advantage of the new Meadville Bike Share, managed by Crawford and Venango County’s public transportation provider, CATA.

Meadville Bike Share is a “service in which bicycles are made available for shared use to individuals on a short term basis. Bike share systems allow people to rent a bike from a ‘dock’ and return it at another ‘dock’ belonging to the same system. ‘Docks’ are special bike racks that lock the bike and only release it by smartphone Bluetooth control.”

“As the public transportation provider for Crawford and Venango Counties, CATA is excited to launch a bike-share program for the Meadville area. CATA began the program in May 2021 with 8 bikes available at 4 different locations. More bikes and more locking locations have been added over the past 2 months!
