About Sugar Mama’s Appalachian Maple

Sugar Mama’s Appalachian Maple is a small maple producer who utilizes local products on their Farm To Fork Food Trailer, and with their catering services. The owner, Rachel Courtney, has branded her business on local sustainable food service.

Rachel describes herself as a foodie. One of her favorite shows to watch is Carnival Eats. Show host, Noah Cappe, travels all over the States to different fairs and festivals to try the vendor food. The style of food and how it’s prepared is zany out of the box fun. She dreams to someday make it on to the show. She’s still working on that… However, she did get the food trailer in 2023! With the help of my husband and dad they overhauled the Farm To Fork Food Trailer, and debuted it at their 2023 Maple Weekend.

Local Sustainable Food Service

The food style is American fare. This style of food was a no brainer, as they live in an area with rich agricultural roots, and produce/raise their pure maple syrup, Angus beef & more. There are so many agribusinesses near them who offer fresh products that are the base of their American favorites; burgers, hot dogs, fries! Those menu items alone don’t stick out in the crowd. To spice things up Sugar Mama’s knew maple had to be involved; maple bbq, maple mustard, maple roasted hot dogs, maple root beer, maple bacon jam… MAPLE BACON JAM! Yep. It’s. That. Good. Sugar Mama’s offers a Farm To Fork catering menu too.

You can find Sugar Mama’s Maple Products at the various vendor shows they attend, or through their website.
