The Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center will be hosting a Maker’s Market on Sunday, December 15th from 12-4PM as part of Wellsboro’s 9th Annual Christmas on Main Street celebration. Visitors come to stroll along our gas lit Main Street, shop local, and enjoy our picturesque town. They visit 30 displays of historic ornaments made locally in the early 1940’s and learn how Wellsboro saved Christmas during World War II. The Gmeiner will be hosting one of the largest displays for this event, and receives hundreds of visitors during this weekend.

The Gmeiner partnered with the PA Route 6 Artisan Trail to pilot this Maker’s Market the weekend of Wellsboro’s 2023 Christmas on Main Street. The Gmeiner hosted 17 artisan vendors and featured glass blowing demonstrations. With the support of PA Route 6 Alliance, the Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center is hosting it’s second Christmas on Main Street Maker’s Market and is inviting regional makers to participate as indoor vendors for this event!

Vendor Information: Items offered for sale MUST be made by the artisan. For a registration fee of $25, each vendor will receive a 6-foot table space and two chairs. The gallery is heated and has restrooms. This will be a great event to get some last-minute Christmas sales, and maybe introduce yourself to a new audience!
