Owned and operated by the Cooper family since 1948 Coopers has become a landmark in Scranton PA. The current location has evolved a long way from the original restaurant that used to be the passenger station of the Erie – Lackawanna Train Station and now encompasses a full sized pirate ship that houses the ships pub, the lighthouse bar, the tiki bar deck, the whale room, the train room and the private coral room. Just like when you go to Paris, France, you must visit the Eiffel Tower, when you come to Scranton, PA, you must visit Cooper’s Seafood House. We are a must in Pennsylvania! More than just a restaurant think about us as an interesting dining tour experience, once you are here you’ll enjoy everything: the menu, the staff, the decoration, the furniture, the amazing lighthouse and life sized pirate ship, and of course THE FOOD! Everything is memorable!
Cooper’s is constantly rated in the top 100 independently owned restaurants in the united States and voted Restaurant of the year by the Pennsylvania Restaurant association. Again Cooper’s was voted Best Restaurant, Best Seafood and Best Beer Menu in the Electric City. Best overall Restaurant and Best Seafood in the Diamond City, and Best Restaurant and Best Seafood in in the Weekender Readers Choice Poll.
