The Tunkhannock Business & Professional Association (TBPA) coordinates various arts and community events in Downtown Tunkhannock, PA, including…
The Tiny Doors Project – Through its Tiny Doors Project, TBPA created an outdoor art gallery bringing the art of 58 local students into the Tunkhannock community! The students each created a whimsical “tiny door” to be on display in a downtown small business. Now, residents and visitors can follow the trail of artsy Tiny Doors throughout the friendly community with the help of the Tiny Doors Guide that can be found online or at any participating business. Follow #TunkhannockTineDoors on social media, and use the hashtag when you share about it, too!
Annual Fall Fest – Plan a trip in October during Tunkhannock’s annual Hometown Fall Fest—a harvest celebration featuring quilts on display, delicious food, the arts, and entertainment.
Magical Santa Train Rides – Each year, TBPA and the Reading & Northern Railroad create an authentic Santa experience for Tunkhannock families and area visitors—The Santa Train Ride! It’s typically only one special weekend in December, so make sure to coordinate your travel plans.
More Events and Festivals – TBPA’s other annual events and festivals include Founder’s Day each June, Christmas in our Hometown each December, and seasonal promotions, such as 4th Fridays throughout the summer months, and Frosted February in… well, February!
So many great small businesses! – The Tunkhannock Business & Professional Association is made up of nearly 140 members, including Tunkhannock area businesses, professionals, and non-profit organizations.
