The Penn Brad Oil Museum is a non-profit museum with a mission of “preserving the philosophy, the spirit, and the accomplishments of an oil country community by taking visitors back to the early oil boom times of the first billion dollar oil field.”
The Penn Brad Oil Museum display, which show the history, struggles, and success of the people who ushered in the billion dollar oil boom to the Bradford area, include a working standard rig standing 80-feet high, a core testing laboratory, and a model home of an oil field worker during the early boom times.
