About Square Timber Designs Handmade Wood Art
Modern. Rustic. Original.
As a Pennsylvania Wilds native, the mountains, forests and landscapes of the Allegheny Plateau have always provided a certain tonic to the soul of Erin Solveson, owner of Square Timber Designs. Dirt roads, breathtaking vistas and the flowing streams of Cameron County have shaped the creative process that is Square Timber Designs.
Living in the hardwood capital of the United States has given Erin a deep appreciation for every piece of lumber that enters her shop, is turned into art and then finds its way into your home. It is said that her work reflects the spirit of the wilds! The Dark Sky Collection, named after Cherry Springs State Park, reflects the breath taking night skies in of North Central Pennsylvania. Cherry Springs State Park is one of the best places in the eastern U.S. for stargazing. These handmade wood art pieces rouse with simplistic beauty from the wood grain texture and worn paint.
“It’s truly an honor to reclaim and create a new kind of beauty from our wilds, precious Pennsylvania mountains.” Erin Solveson
