The Nostalgia – Conceived in the 1970s during the nation’s Bicentennial, the Wild Wind Folk Art & Craft Festival takes visitors back to a bygone era celebrating American craftsmanship and “the joys of simpler times.”
40+ Years of Fun, Friendship, & Family – Longtime friends and family come together from all over the country to organize this nationally-recognized and highly-respected festival. Attendees will be given the opportunity to see the unique, handcrafted wares of the 150 artisans who have been selected to showcase their work at this prestigious festival. There is something for everyone’s taste and pocketbook, from one-of-a-kind collector’s pieces to small gift items.
The Entertainment & Activities – The Wild Wind Folk Art & Craft Festival offers a weekend full of exciting entertainment and activities, such as detailed woodworking, glass blowing, and wool spinning demonstrations, live birds of prey exhibit and lectures, a professional magician performing for adults and children alike, interactive animal farm with pony rides, and a bountiful fall farmers market…just to name a few!
