PA Route 6 Alliance Postpones 2020 Educational Summit & Annual Meeting
In consideration of state COVID-19 guidelines and to sustain the health and safety of the PA Route 6 Heritage Region, the PA Route 6 Alliance has postponed their 2020 PA Route 6 Educational Summit & Annual Meeting until May of 2021.
The event, hosted each year by the Alliance in one of its Heritage Communities, was originally scheduled for May 13–14 then rescheduled for August 5–6. Governor Wolf’s recent changes to the guidelines for large group gatherings prompted the Alliance to postpone the event until the spring of 2021. The newly combined 2020-21 event will still be hosted in Kane, the Alliance’s 2019 Heritage Community of the Year. The organization also plans to continue their tradition of honoring the region’s influential individuals, organizations, and events by presenting “Do 6” Awards at the event for both years.
